A chance to learn about changing your dog’s behaviour and emotional responses in the presence of other dogs. Learn to have fun with your dog even when other dogs are around! The course will give you the techniques you need to get good behaviour from your dog around other dogs whether on or off the lead.
The course starts with some online instruction so that you are able to start working by yourself before we introduce your dogs to a more challenging environment with other dogs. We have found that this helps enormously by enabling owners to start to improve your dog’s behaviour without the added stress of other dogs being there at the beginning!
We will then have 3 practical sessions in a group of maximum 4 dogs/handlers. The first two will be held at Alsager Equestrian Centre, Chells Hill, Alsager, ST7 3RJ on Sat 24th October and Sat 31st October 1-2pm. Sat 7th November we will do a group dog walk outdoors in the Alsager countryside, 12-1pm.
The course will start with an Introductory video and detailed video demonstrations. You will be invited to send in videos of yourself working with your dog for feedback. Full, personal support given through the course and afterwards via a private Facebook group. Suitable for all dogs who have issues around other dogs whether caused by anxiety/aggression or over-excitement.
