What People Say About Dogskool …

Hi Sarah, Jasper is doing very well. He has turned into a lovely dog from the erratic puppy that we started with. Thanks for your help Phil & Terry Holmes and Jasper

Thanks to you we kept Lily, I have put many trying hours in and we are getting there she is very loving and will make a good companion. Thanks again, Sharron Wilson, Henry, Beth, Grace and of course Lily X

A big thank you for all the advice that you gave us, we now have a one year old dog that is a pleasure to have in the house – Ann & Cheddar

The dogs are doing brilliant – can’t believe how much they have changed!  They are so much calmer and relaxed now – it’s great. Everyone has noticed the change in them and says how much better they are.  I can’t thank you enough for the help you gave us – it’s made the dogs much more happy and contented and more enjoyable for us – Claire Grice

Just thought I’d let you know that we are doing really well with Chloe in terms of her reaction to other dogs and we are really pleased with the results from the dog meets dog course. She is still learning but the improvement is amazing, thank you so much – Victoria Pugh & Chloe

I would like to share my experience of Dogskool. Twelve months ago I rescued a very wilful and energetic one-year old terrier cross called Lola. I would not call Lola an aggressive dog but her manners when meeting other dogs for the first time needed attention. I contacted Sarah and arranged a home visit, which lasted around two hours which I found really informative. We then attended a “Reactive Dog” course with four other dogs and then enrolled for the eight-week “Dog Obedience” course. I am delighted with the progress Lola has made, especially when we go for a walk. Her attitude towards other dogs has changed so much I am now in the process of rescuing another dog. I will definitely be enrolling my new dog with Dogskool.  Michelle Bugliarello

Sarah is professional, well trained and down to earth. She is passionate about what she does and how she does it. If I have had a question or didn’t understand, Sarah has made sure that she fully explains and checks back later to ensure that I am up to speed. I have never felt that she has pushed me for money or sold me something that was irrelevant. I have found her to be encouraging and willing to try different things. Dogs can be frustrating but Sarah shows you how to have patience, work with the dog and above all that it is you and your attitude and behaviour that influences the way your dog behaves. Just thought I’d let you know that we are doing really well with Chloe in terms of her reaction to other dogs and we are really pleased with the results from the Reactive Dog package. She is still learning but the improvement is amazing, thank you so much, Victoria Pugh & Chloe

We rescued a very bouncy and assertive!!! husky a few months ago that would literally take off and pull me over and I struggled to control him. Sarah came to the house and spent probably 2 1/2 hours with me and the dog. That morning was some of the best money I have ever spent as from then on I could walk him with full control using a few simple methods advised.

Blue was very difficult to control when other dogs barked or were near by and we booked a Reactive Dog package to see if this would help us both. I have seen a vast improvement both in the dog and my skill level!!!!! We are now going to the basic obedience class (I asked to go, I wasn’t pushed, six sessions for £60). I certainly found Sarah and her assistant really engaged and helpful and can’t thank them enough for their efforts. Joanna Taylor

I first took my German pointer to the Wednesday dog club which was great learning new tricks and playing games with your dog and it was nice to be able to socialise your dog in a controlled environment. I have recently start going to the agility class on a Thursday after doing a few taster session and he loves it! Keeps him fit and healthy and helps me too! I have learnt a lot in just a short few weeks highly recommend Sarah’s classes!  Emma Binnersley

Dogskool is brill. Loads of different activities to try, lots of happy dogs and friendly and welcoming owners and really knowledgeable trainers who use encouragement, kind and fun training methods for dogs and people. Defo recommend! x  Angela Keane

Thanks to Sarah we have a beautiful well trained 2 year old black lab who attended classes as a puppy! More recently we adopted a blind lab and called Sarah in for some advice. Sarah did a home visit and provided us with numerous helpful hints that are so far working very well. Highly recommended our next step will be to look at the fun classes run by Sarah. Becky Grocott

I’ve been going to Wednesday nights Dogclub for around 6 years now. Lily and Millie love it and I love it. They get to socialise and have fun with lots of other dogs and without coming to these classes they wouldn’t be as well behaved as they are. I’ve learnt as much as they have and continue to do so. Thanks to dog Sarah we are able to walk Franky now rather than being dragged. He knows how to play ball which is fun for Franky, us and our children. I would recommend Dogskool to other dog owners. Sarah was friendly, professional, not judgmental, gave constructive criticism when it was needed, gave us confidence with handling Franky in a positive manner. We all learnt a lot within a small amount of time. Without the help of Dogskool I’m sure we would’ve had o let Franky go to a new home which would have been heart breaking. So many thanks Dogskool! Recently started my 2 year old rottie cross in the fun dog class to top up his training, Sarah is fantastic, has lots of great tips and advice. Also the class is lovely &friendly, not judgmental if your dog isn’t perfect, which mine certainly isn’t! & now he loves his weekly class and his behaviour is 100% better Sarah Latham

Absolutely love Sarah’s classes. I only wish I’d found them sooner!! Nicola Owen

Really enjoyed our sessions, especially the way Sarah finds different ways of showing the dog what is being asked for, lots of alternative explanations in dog language until they ‘get’ it :o) Would recommend Dogskool to everyone who likes doing fun things with their dogs with no pressure :o) R. McGratchett

Took Milo to puppy class when we first had him. He loved it and learnt things so quickly. He loved meeting the other dogs and was great way for socialising him. When you first have a puppy it can all be quite overwhelming and meeting other people for support was very important. Robert Clegg

We took our dogs to Dogskool today to try Jack at fly ball- he loved it and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Sarah and Neil. Paul Stewart
